What Do Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Need in the Gen Ed Classroom?
This workshop is for teachers who need an overview of what Deaf and Hard of Hearing students need in the Gen Ed classroom. When you get the notification that you will have a DHH student in your classroom and you pause for a moment wondering what you need to do differently, this workshop will address those thoughts and next steps. It will review possible modifications you will see on an IEP and how to best address those as well as understanding hearing loss in general and the use of an interpreter.
